April in Paris

Evoking the Paris of the 40’s and 50’s with the music of Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, and other beloved French ‘chanson’ performers, Suzanne Sheridan will take you on a journey through the French music of that era. With a glass of French wine and a bit of imagination, you will want to travel with her and enjoy the music of Paris at The Magnolia Room.

Suzanne Sheridan, voice/guitar

In 1994, Suzanne Sheridan debuted her “Sheridan Songwriter’s Showcase” Cable TV show from Westport and has been performing for Connecticut audiences ever since. She has expanded her geographical performance locations to include Australia, Canada, California, and much of the East Coast. She is best known for her tributes to Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, and Bob Dylan. She has won awards and recognition for her music and many will recognize the country cult hit she co-wrote with her life partner, Rozanne Gates, called “90 Pound Suburban Housewife Driving in Her SUV.” Ms. Sheridan’s band “The Suzanne Sheridan Band” performs in many venues covering many musical styles and genres including the American Songbook of classic American songs by songwriters such as Gershwin, Rodgers and Hart, and Cole Porter. And now, Suzanne has introduced a dedicated repertoire of French music to her bag of musical magic and just recently released her CD, “Chez Vous avec Suzanne” that is available on CD Baby.  Visit her musical website for videos and info.
