Celebrate the holidays with cabaret and Broadway performers Christina Connors, Kenneth Gartman and Christopher Hudson Myers as they gather around the piano and share what makes this the most wonderful time of the year with Special Guests Sarah Ferro, Wendy Scherl, Frank Mastrone, and Kyle Brenn.  This Magnolia Room holiday cabaret special is certain to remind you of the joys of the season!

Sarah Ferro  Sarah attended New World School of the Arts in Miami, FL and studied music and theater at The University of Miami where she performed the role of Polly in Crazy for You at the Jerry Herman Ring Theater. In South Florida, Sarah performed at the Cuillo Performing Arts Center, The Colony Theater, The Actors’ Playhouse at Miracle Mile and The Coconut Grove Playhouse in productions such as Company starring Polly Bergen, Berlin To Broadway: The Music of Kurt Weill , Jesus Christ Superstar, Harry Chapin's America and Come Fly With Me: The Music of Sammy Cahn directed by Paul Blake (Mr. Cahn’s director). Before moving to New York, Sarah was performing her cabaret and singing and dancing as the lead singer aboard the cruise ship The Regal Empress. Following the cruise ship, she went on to sing in Honolulu, Hawaii at the Kahala Hilton after a chance meeting with Joy Abbott, cabaret artist and widow of famed Broadway director George Abbott. In New York City, her credits include In Circles, Music by Al Carmines and Text by Gertrude Stein at the Judson Memorial Church at Washington Square Park and I’m Going to Love You Forever at the Gene Frankel Theater in Noho, where she played the role of Barbara Cook. Sarah has performed her one woman cabaret shows in New York City at The Duplex, The Metropolitan Room and The Stonewall Inn and in Connecticut has sung at the Fairfield Theater Company, Westport Country Playhouse and The Wall Street Theater. Sarah currently lives in Westport, CT with her partner Vicky with their three children Atticus, Keaton and Everett and their furry baby Brodie.

Wendy Scherl toured the country in featured roles such as Grace in Annie, Babe in the Pajama Game, various roles in Grease and as Jeanie in the official 20th Anniversary production of Hair in Chicago. She made her Cabaret Debut in 1988 with a sold out run at Danny’s Skylight Room.  After an eighteen year hiatus to raise two sons, Scherl returned to the cabaret stage in 2015 with her critically acclaimed show, What Do You Do All Day.  Scherl has been a featured performer in Richard Skipper Celebrates, Gone Too Soon, the Gala Benefit for Cabaret Cares and Bobbie Horowitz’s MAC Award winning series, It’s Just a Number. In the summer of 2016, Scherl  was awarded First Runner Up in the Metro Star Talent Search in NYC.  Her current show "NEW Scherl in Town" garnered her a nomination for Best Female Vocalist at the 2018 Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs Awards at BB Kings.

Frank Mastrone is thrilled to return to the Magnolia room. He has appeared in six Broadway Shows including in The Phantom of the OperaLes Miserables and Jekyll and Hyde, as well as five major national tours including Mamma Mia and Evita. He has performed at The Long Wharf Theatre in New Haven, The Old Globe in San Diego, Avery Fisher & Carnegie Hall's in NY, and The Royal Albert Hall in London, He recently performed the role of Big Daddy in the Music Theatre of CT's Cat on a Hot Tin Roof here in Norwalk.  Merry Christmas to Ramona and the girls.

Kyle Brenn is a composer, arranger, actor and musician born in Norwalk, CT and currently based in New York City. Active in the worlds of contemporary classical/new music, theatre, film, jazz, and pop, his work has been performed at NYU, JCC Manhattan and Lincoln Center. His professional acting credits include West Side Story (Broadway), Leap of Faith (Broadway), and Sweeney Todd with the New York Philharmonic. He’s currently pursuing a BM in Music Theory & Composition at NYU Steinhardt. He is the 2018 recipient of NYU Steinhardt’s prestigious Alan Menken Composition Scholarship.
