Galen Tate, pianist
Frank has appeared on Broadway in The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Cats, Big: The Musical, Jekyll and Hydeand Saturday Night Fever. Some Off Broadway, National Tour and concert credits include Tapestry: The Music of Carol King (Union Square Theatre), Cats, Les Miserables, Evita, Mamma Mia, Kismet (City Center Encores) and South Pacific, Show Boat and Kristina (all at Carnegie Hall). Frank has performed at the Long Wharf Theatre (New Haven), The Old Globe Theatre (San Diego) The Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma (Oklahoma City) and The Royal Albert Hall (London). He works as an entertainment specialist for a senior living corporation; teaches musical theatre at the Greenwich Performing Arts Studio; performs with numerous theatre companies and choirs; creates events, concerts and cabarets for a large variety of businesses and non-profit organizations; and, with his wife Ramona, is having a blast raising their fifteen year old triplet daughters! frankmastrone.com
Galen Tate serves on the music faculty of Sacred Heart University and is music director at St. Thomas More Church (Darien). As a recitalist, he most recently performed at Yale Academy Sinfonietta (New Haven), Church of the Transfiguration (NYC), First Congregational Church (Fairfield) and the Cathedral of Saint Mary, (San Francisco), and as organist with New Haven Chorale (Yale), Connecticut Chamber Choir and with the US Military Academy’s West Point Glee Club (New York). His choral conducting and accompanying performances have taken him to venues throughout the US and abroad, most recently in Dublin, Ireland with the SHU Brass Ensemble.
