Don Shelden has worked with such greats as the Grammy Award-winning master arranger Marion Evans on two previous albums — “Imagination” and “Any Swing Goes” as well as the Emmy Award-winning pianist and arranger Mike Renzi, the Grammy-nominated pianist, arranger and conductor Nick Perito and Grammy-nominated pianist Derek Smith legendary guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli and bassist Jerry Bruno -Jerry Played with Frank Sinatra over a number of years beginning in 1979. Don appears regularly at jazz and dance clubs in Connecticut, New Jersey and NY.
Jerry Bruno played with Frank Sinatra over a number of years beginning in 1979, including, Carnegie and Radio City Music Hall as well as tours throughout Brazil and the US. Jerry played with Frank Sinatra to frenzied crowds at the Rio Palace in Rio de Janeiro. He also toured and performed with greats such as Liza Minnelli, Tommy Dorsey and Louis Prima. Jerry met guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli in 1948 when they were both playing in Vaughn Monroe's big band; they have been playing together ever since.
Russ Kassoff toured as pianist to Frank Sinatra from '80-'91, served as pianist/accompanist for Liza Minnelli from '82-'01 and Minnelli's music director and conductor for the acclaimed Minnelli on Minnelli national tour ('00). Russ was pianist for The Ultimate Event Tour ('88-'89), televised nationally on PBS and featuring Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin, and Minnelli.
Annette Sanders is a much sought-after studio singer. Her distinctly recognizable sound has been heard on literally thousands of jingles, movie soundtracks and CDs. She has worked with the "who's who" of the music industry - from pop to jazz - Dionne Warwick, Roberta Flack, Mel Torme, Michel LeGrand, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Gerry Mulligan, Gloria Estefan, and Barbra Streisand to name a few.
Ray Marchica has been an in-demand player in New York for more than 25 years, appearing on countless sessions, Broadway productions and TV shows. One of the most diverse freelance drummers in New York City, Marchica is a longstanding member of The Ed Palermo Big Band, which specializes in the music of Frank Zappa, a challenging gig that demands the most highly skilled of drummers (Terry Bozzio, Vinnie Colaiuta and Chad Wackerman filled the drum chair during Zappa’s heyday).
